We look forward to hearing from you!

We are delighted to announce that we have spaces available for our Nursery located on the site of Looe Primary Academy for pupils aged 2 to 5 years of age. Set within an established Early Years setting which was rated 'good' by Ofsted in January 2019, we provide high quality childcare in a calm yet stimulating environment. We are open in term time between the hours of 8.30am until 3pm and offer flexible childcare to suit the needs of each individual family.

We offer 15 or 30 hours free childcare for those families that are entitled. The following link explains how you can apply for help with your childcare costs https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

The fees are £4.50 per hour. We provide an Early Bird session from 8.30am-9am (£2.50), a morning session from 9am-12pm (£13.50) and an afternoon session from 12pm-3pm which includes lunchtime. (£13.50) We offer a hot, healthy school lunch which will be provided by the school kitchen at a cost of £2.41 per meal. This must be ordered and paid for in advance by ParentPay. Menus are available from the school office.

We plan our curriculum and organise each day in response to our knowledge of how young children learn best. We use an active approach to learning and teaching which enables us to respond to the needs of our children as they move from Nursery to Foundation and then on to Year 1 and 2.

Please contact the Nurser administrator by email jbersey@looeprimary.co.uk or call 01503 262172 to arrange a visit to the Nursery.

"Our girls have really enjoyed their time in the Nursery. They settled in easily due to the calm and welcoming atmosphere. They always have a lot of fun painting, reading, outdoor play, playing with sand and water. The staff have worked very well preparing my 4 year old for school, she is comfortable and familiar with the surroundings and is really looking forward to starting school in September!"
