Autumn 1, Week 1: Welcome back!

Welcome back!

We have had a wonderful first week in Foundation / Year 1 this week! Are big question this term is ‘who am I?’ and we have been exploring this in lots of different ways. In science we have been thinking about the human body. We were really impressed when we found out that there is over 200 bones in the human body! We have also been thinking about our question through art; using pencils, crayons paint and other ways to make pictures of ourselves.

We have also been exploring our new outdoor area! We have been putting our construction hats on to build houses, and we have been searching for minibeasts, leaves and clouds in our Geography, to learn more about the world around us.

Some updates:

PE days are Wednesday and Thursday.

Books will be changed on a Friday.

Please bring wellies that are named into school if you can.

Please remember to book lunches via ParentPay.

I think we are in for a great year!
