Additional MFL learning
Many of our pupils have been using the Duolingo app (free to download) to further their learning in Spanish beyond school. The app is particularly useful for learning a variety of vocabulary, and is suitable for all levels of language learning.
Other MFL links that are useful to extend language learning are – BBC schools primary languages website, Primary Games Arena – Spanish games and Crickweb – KS2 Spanish.
If you have any questions about how to extend your child’s language learning or would like to know more about our languages curriculum, please contact email@example.com or see Miss Drake at school.
The teaching of Spanish grammar has been helping to support our children’s understanding of English grammar, reinforcing the use of phonics and the understanding of different tenses.
We use our maths skills to learn our Spanish numbers! We have been applying our knowledge of addition and subtraction to answer Spanish number sentences.
